eduvidual is meant as a place for teachers who want to keep in touch with their students through instant messaging in conjunction with the edumessenger-app, but have no access to learning management systems that respect data sovereignty or are not willing to expose private data to the well-known messenger companies like facebook, whatsapp and so on. eduvidual offers a free registration and use without of fees under a fair-use-clause. eduvidual was developed by the digitale bildungsgesellschaft and is maintained by the zentrum für lernmanagement in partnership with the austrian federal ministry of education which assures all data to be kept within the european union and not to be used for any purpose of commercialization.
